What an amazing experience to stay in the Omni Pod which has to be the coolest place in Hobart to stay. From the minute we walked in we knew we were staying in the perfect space for us. The views over the harbour and up to Mt Wellington were spectacular!! However it was the comfort and thought of the hosts that made the place such a memorable experience. from the basket of fresh goodies to the super comfy beds the retreat was a great get away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne!! Of course there was the ultra special and unique outdoor bath, what a hoot! Can't wait to come back
I loved my stay at Avalon City Retreat. The penthouse apartment is beautiful and it was an amazing feeling to be right in the middle of the city yet secluded from the hustle and bustle. Every detail had been taken care of for us - there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. The views are amazing - almost 360 degree. And the bed really was the most comfortable bed I have slept in - ever! I would highly recommend Avalon to anyone looking for somewhere a bit different to stay while they explore Hobart. I've lived in Hobart all my life but this was seeing Hobart a way I never have before.
If you want to spoil yourself for a few days then this is the place to do it ! From the moment you step through the front door til the moment you leave (sadly), luxury prevails ! The views are spectacular, and it's hard to leave the incredibly comfortable beds. The fridge was stocked with a welcome basket of goodies- fresh fruits, yoghurt , bacon, eggs, chocolates , cheeses etcetera etcetera. The outdoor bath is the perfect place to enjoy a bottle of bubbles watching the sun go. Perfection!
From the minute you walk in you know that it is going to be a good holiday. This view is incredible, but the interior is even better. From nights spent drinking Tasmanian wine in the outdoor pine bath to cooking up a lovely seafood dinner in the state of the art kitchen. We looked forward to coming 'home' after each day and didn't want to leave in the morning.
Amazing, amazing and amazing! You really couldn't ask for a better spot to stay while in Hobart. The "Pod" was an amazing (I will stop using that word) place to stay - beautifully fitted out with great views and a quick walk to anywhere you wanted to go really. We would definitely stay there again should we visit Hobart in the future - highly recommended from start to finish and thank you to the lovely staff!!!
